Memorial Services for Ernest G. Van Buren, 73, who died Tuesday in Salem, will begin at 6:30 pm Sunday in the Salem Foursquare Church.
Born in Fairview, Mont., he attended Montana schools. He was a long-time Salem-area resident. He was a contract painter and worked for Western Paper Co. for 19 years until retiring in 1975. He then worked as a maintenance man for the Salem Foursquare Church, where he was a member and which he helped build.
Survivors include his wife, Lela; daughters, Sharon Perron and Mary Ann Gurr, both of Canada; Son, Lonnie of Canada; and brother, Bill of Portland.
Private internment was in the Lebanon Odd Fellows Cemetery…. |
