Rose Emilie (Amelia) Steinke was born 21 Jan 1885 in Wisconsin to Julius and Minnie [Hermann] Steinke. One of seven children born to the German immigrant couple. Rose married Otto Frederick Zwicker 14 Mar 1906 in East Salem, OR at the home of her father. The couple would have five children. Otto would go on to establish the Salem Fluff Rug and Mattress Factory in Salem. Rose died 1 Feb 1932 in Salem, OR. Otto followed her 26 Feb 1939. They are buried in Belcrest Memorial Park in Salem.
