Since 2019, we’ve been conducting a project to identify and document the lives of the people who worked at the Thomas Kay Woolen Mill. Over that time, staff and volunteers have developed a research template and an understanding of the record sources that help document ordinary people’s lives.

This workshop will give an overview of the millworker project and allow you to view a sample of mill records used in research. It will also use the case study method to review the types of record sources available and suggest practical tips for researching family members.

Fee: $25 (WHC members receive a 10% discount)
