Since the 1980’s Salem Fiberarts Guild (SFG) has sponsored an annual fiber arts sale of our handmade items. This event is traditionally in the month of October. The sale began as a way to give members a place to sell the items they made and as a fundraiser for our beautiful home at Willamette Heritage Center (WHC). Additionally, it is a way to promote our mission of community outreach and to keep our craft alive. People return year after year to purchase items for themselves and as holiday gifts.

To add to the fun we have rug hookers, hand stitchers, lace makers, tatters, weavers, spinners, knitters and more – it varies from year to year.

Raffle … As an additional source of revenue, one of our members traditionally weaves a blanket or throw to be raffled off via ticket sales. These tickets are typically available starting in July.
