X2011.009.0009, Campaign Button, Cub Houck

It is interesting how many times reading the newspaper portends new discoveries in the Willamette Heritage Center collections.  After reading  Cub Houck’s obituary last month, I opened a box in the archives to find the button to the left from his bid for State Senate.

This button was one of a group of forty campaign buttons from various elections and causes throughout the area and nationally.  Through the help of our volunteer David Ranseen, the buttons have been cataloged. Click here to see what we found Campaign Buttons.
