This series of 35 mm slides appear to be a chronicle of one person’s trip on the Shasta Daylight, embarking at the depot in Salem, Oregon. The Shasta Daylight was a passenger train run by the Southern Pacific that made regular runs between Oakland, California and Portland, Oregon starting in 1949.
