This is great news! What about the Waldo House? Does it/will it remain?
I don’t know for sure. It looks like, according to a January 8, 1991 Statesman Journal Article, that the house was severely burned in a two alarm fire on Monday, January 7, 1991. The article lists the address of the house as 3515 Howell Prairie Road SE. As of the date of the article the house had not been listed on the National Register, and the owner was unsure “if the home’s remaining wooden beams would be used to restore the house.”
