This article was found in today by Volunteer Darrel in the personal papers of Elmer Daue he is indexing. We thought it was interesting the penalties for getting caught making moonshine in Salem. Unfortunately the article itself is undated and unsourced, but we are guessing it was published in 1923, more than a decade in to Prohibition-era Salem. Clipping is part of Accession 83.43.16 and can be found in folder 9.6.
