New to the Willamette Heritage Center research library is a book by Dale Kirby. History of the Salem Oregon Stake, 1857-2010, covers over 150 years of church history. The book helps to fill a huge void in our library’s collections with regard to the history of the church. The book’s first section gives a chronological history. Also featured are chapters about auxiliary organizations and programs, prominent members of the Salem Oregon Stake and appendices that provide information on Stake presidencies, branches, meetinghouses and congregations. The book is illustrated and indexed.
New Book features History of the Latter-Day Saints in Salem Area
