The WHC has several pieces on loan to the Oregon Northwest Black Pioneers for their upcoming exhibit at the Oregon Historical Society in Portland.  All Aboard: Railroading and Portland’s Black Community, opens January 15, 2013 and features the work and lives of African American railroad workers in Portland in the 1800s to  the 1940s.  For more information about the exhibit visit the OHS website here.  The exhibit runs through April 21, 2013.
