This collection is comprised of student papers based on oral history interviews conducted by U.S. History students of George Strozut at North Salem High School from 1959-1961. The relationship between students and senior citizen interview subjects varies from close family relationships such as grandparents to no prior relationship with Salem retirement home residents suggested by the teacher. Interviewees may or may not have had a geographical connection to Salem or Marion County.
