Perseverance:  A History of African Americans in Oregon’s Marion and Polk Counties has been published by the Oregon Northwest Black Pioneers Association.  An official book launch has been scheduled at the First Congregational Church in Salem on Saturday, August 27th from 4:00 to 6:00.
