One of the best parts of cleaning in the collections area is finding materials we didn’t know we had, including this framed Charter (X2012.028.0003) granted to the Salem, Oregon Branch of the NAACP on July 2, 1970. Also discovered were an illustration of the Detroit Dam and a 1913 panoramic view of the Salem Cherry Festival parade on State Street.
