Venue Rental FAQ
We have multiple venues to offer, perfect for any group of up to 250 attendees. Rates vary depending on the venue space, day of the week, and amount of rental time.

The down payment to reserve a date is 50% of the total rental fee. This, along with a signed contract, is due within 2 weeks of booking.
The remaining balance is due 30 days before your scheduled event.
Up to you! Our venues are available at full-day and hourly pricing. Times that you need access to the venue space should be included in your selection of reservation time.
WHC Events Staff will set up the tables, chairs, and equipment included in each rental space before the start of your reservation. We will also break them down once your event has concluded.
If your event requires a reset of the floor plan during the event, it is the renter’s responsibility to move the tables, chairs, etc.
You are welcome to select any caterer you would like. We do have recommendations for catering services that have worked at Willamette Heritage Center in the past and have received glowing reviews from previous guests that we are happy to share!
While we do not offer linen or décor rentals, we are happy to point you in the direction of some reputable companies that do.
Yes, WHC does require a general liability policy specifically naming WHC as additional insured for the date(s) of the rental.
Securing insurance may be possible through your insurance agent, and we also have suggestions for other event insurance providers if needed.
Yes, the Willamette Heritage Center allows the service of beer, wine, cider, champagne, and seltzer. OLCC-licensed servers employed by a company registered with the State of Oregon must be hired to conduct alcohol service. We also require event security from our approved Event Security list to be hired from the time the bar opens until the end of the event.
Rental of the Spinning Room includes access to our Card Room, which many guests enjoy using as a getting ready space. This is the only venue onsite with a getting ready space.
While rehearsal time is not automatically included, we do have packages available that allow for entry the day before your event as our booking schedule allows.
When you check in to your venue you will receive the phone number of the Events Staff assigned to your event.
If you need an additional table, help with the sound system, or have a question about the facilities you will always have an onsite contact who can assist you.
