This unused label (2012.074.0001) was printed for use on canned pears packed during WWII at the Oregon Fruit Products Company in Salem. The “Victrypac” description to the right side of the label talks about how these pears were packed to save labor during wartime shortages and to explain why the product will not be up to the quality consumers might be familiar with. This label was printed by the Stecher-Traung Lithographic Company out of San Fransisco.
