Clothes may not make the man, but they do tell a story about our past. Styles, materials, utility and wear can read like clues to discovering the wearer’s identity and experiences. In 2015, visitors experienced an array of unique pieces of our community’s past in “What We Wore: An Exhibit of Mid-Valley Fashion History,” featuring rarely exhibited clothing and accessories from the Willamette Heritage Center’s collection. Sponsored by the O’Neill Pine Company and by a grant of the Transient Occupancy Tax from the City of Salem. On display from September 25 through December 23, 2015.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
