Thursday, January 30, 2014, Archaeology students from Willamette University will be presenting their research. Among the presenters will be Maureen Ricks, who recently completed an internship at the WHC. She has done in-depth analysis on material recovered from the Wilson-Durbin House site in Salem, currently housed at the Center.
Maureen’s work has helped date and identify materials using a variety of techniques. The conclusions she has drawn from her research offers amazing insights into life in Salem in the 1870s and beyond.
